Sharon Denise Campbell

Sharon Denise Campbell, 47, of Bassett, Virginia, transitioned from her earthly home on Sunday, April 6, 2025. She was born December 1, 1977, in Danville, Virginia to Sylvia Denise Campbell Carter and the late Thomas Wayne Cooke.

Sharon was a beloved member of Watson Level Missionary Baptist Church and attended Martinsville High School. She deeply loved her family and cherished the time spent with them. Known for her vibrant personality, Sharon brought joy wherever she went; she loved to dance and was always the life of the party. Her laughter was contagious, and her energy lit up every room she entered. Sharon truly knew how to have a good time and made sure those around her did too.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughters, Shaluntae Campbell and Kaydreona Hairston; son, Kelly Hairston, Jr.; sisters, Cynthia Campbell, Latasha Jones, and Yolander Witcher; and brother, Brandon Jones.

The Funeral will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Bishop John Campbell officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
