Sharon Lee Hendricks
Sharon Lee Hendricks, 68, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend who lived a life full of love, kindness, and devotion.
Sharon had a deep love for the simple joys in life. She found happiness in the company of her cherished cats, the beauty of the outdoors, and the thrill of a good horror movie. A woman of faith, she loved the Lord with all her heart and shared that love with those around her. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure.
A dedicated homemaker, Sharon had a special talent for cooking, with her famous potatoes and onions being a family favorite. She had a giving heart, always willing to help others in their time of need and generously donating to charities like St. Jude. She enjoyed country music—especially the songs of Dwight Yoakam—reading the newspaper and savoring a caffeine-free Diet Pepsi. A lover of sweets and a kind soul, Sharon’s warmth and generosity touched many lives.
Sharon is preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Harold Junior Hendricks Sr.; her son, Harold Junior Hendricks Jr.; and one brother.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Hendricks; her sons, Earl Hendricks and Walter Hendricks; her grandchildren, Nathaniel Hendricks, Chase Shelton, Hope Hendricks, and Faith Hendricks; her daughter-in-law, Cynthia Hendricks; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
