Sharon Lee Hensley

Sharon Lee Hensley age 80 of Goodview passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024. She was born on September 2, 1944 a daughter of the late Estel Emory and Lois Elizabeth Johnson Hensley. She was also preceded in death by her canine "daughter", Charley. Sharon was a retired teacher and volleyball coach (William Byrd High School) in the Roanoke County Public Schools.Miss Hensley is survived by her sister, Linda Kingery (Sonny); nephew, Troy Byrd (Joy); niece, Tami Oliver (Steve); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Brandon, Bryson, Madison, Ryan (Julia), Jordan (Emily), and Matthew. She is also survived by other family and friends.A celebration of her life will be conducted 10:00 AM Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Poland officiating.
