Sharon Lynn Adams Greenwood

Mrs. Sharon Lynn Adams Greenwood, age 70 of Mount Airy, passed away peacefully Saturday morning September 7, 2024, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. She was born December 23, 1953, in Surry County to the late Roy and Loraine Gravely Adams. Mrs. Greenwood retired from the textile industry. She is survived by a brother-in-law, Danny Greenwood; nephew, Timothy Greenwood; great niece, Keely Greenwood; and her best friend, Deborah Hunt. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Greenwood was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Greenwood; her son, Brian Greenwood; and her brother, Larry Adams. A celebration of life for Charles and Sharon will be held on Saturday September 14, 2024, at 1:00pm at Fancy Gap Baptist Church with Rev. Dwight Sechrist officiating. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
