Sharon Martin
Sharon Kay Crumb Case Martin, age 67, of 103 Fourth Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia passed away peacefully at her residence on June 12, 2023.
She was born November 14, 1955 in Charleston, SC to the late Donald Jack Crumb and Nellie Harrelson Crumb. She was a radioman for the United States Navy and retired with over 30 years of service at the VA Medical Center-Salem as an accounting technician. Sharon attended First Christian Church, Covington. She was NASCAR’s biggest fan. She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Tompkins and a brother, Steven Harrelson.
She is survived by her beloved dog Gabby, a daughter, Kiley Dawn McCall and husband, Ben of Wirtz; two sons, Travis Martin Case and wife, Heather and Timothy Ray Martin both of Roanoke; a sister, Cindy Allman and husband, Rex of Covington; seven grandchildren whom she adored, Mason Case, Eli McCall, Emma Martin, Jaxon Case, Haddie Martin, Caroline Martin, and Ellie McCall, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Special friends, The Martin Family, Gilbert Case, Tony Martin, and her friends from the Salem VA Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 16, 2023 at noon followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Bill Gilliland officiating. Following the service family and friends can gather at her residence.
