Shelly Lawson Arden

Shelly Arden, 64, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Friday, August 23, 2024. She was born June 6, 1960, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late Albert Lawson and Lucy Clifton Lawson.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister-in-law, Lynn Lawson.Shelly was a graduate of Fieldale Collinsville High School and was of the Baptist faith. She loved to do crafts and loved to camp in the camper. Shelly loved her dogs and enjoyed flower gardens and telling Pete how to arrange the flowers.She is survived by her loving husband Pete Arden; daughter, Tiffany Renee Eanes; brothers, Charles Lawson and Roger Lawson; sister-in-law, Joan Lawson; grandson, Dylan Shaw; her dog Josie Arden; and numerous cousins and friends.The funeral will be Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Terry Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Burial Park, 103 Clearview Drive, Martinsville, Virginia 24112.
