Shirley Jean Barrow McBride Triplett

Shirley Jean Barrow McBride Triplett, 72 of Bassett, VA passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022. She was born on February 20, 1950, in Martinsville, VA to the late Joseph Luray Barrow and Lula Lee Crutchfield Barrow. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Luray Barrow, Jr.; brother-in-law, David Kallam.

She graduated from Fieldale Collinsville High School and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving is her daughter, Charlotte Sherrill of Virginia Beach, VA; son, Billy Ray “J.R.” McBride, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC; siter, Joan Kallam of Spencer, VA; and grandsons, Philip Christopher Sherrill, Jr., and Joseph Sherill; granddaughter, Natalie Gongloff and three great-grandchildren.

Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville, VA is serving the Triplett family.
