Shirley Marie Fuller

Shirley Marie Fuller, 67, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Martinsville Health and Rehab. She was born on January 3, 1957, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late Lynn Helms and Betty Margaret Helms. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Shirley was a member of Refuge Temple Ministries. She was a homemaker and enjoyed writing in her spare time. She was known for her beautiful smile, and she loved to laugh. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Shirley is survived by one daughter, Lekita Hairston; two sons, Aubrey Benjamin Fuller Jr. and Bobby Ronell Helms; two grandchildren, Ke’Yarra Manns and Bobby Ronell Helms Jr.; four great-grandchildren; four sisters; one brother; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel.
