Stephen William Crouch

July 30, 1975 - December 28, 2024

It is with the deepest sadness we share the news of Stephen William Crouch, 49, passing over the rainbow on Saturday, December 28th 2024. While we are devastated by his passing, we find comfort in knowing his suffering is over and that he made it to Christmas which was his true last wish.

Stephen is survived by his wife and true soulmate, Brooke Crouch and their son, Carter Crouch and their big, loving labs Harper and Charlie. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Crouch; sister, Janine Brizendine; and niece Kyndal Brizendine. He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law that loved him like their own, Melvin and Jenny Dickerson, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Stephen is preceded in death by his father, William (Bill) Crouch and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Stephen was one of the kindest, wittiest, most humble, loving souls on this earth. He loved Brooke and Carter fiercely and made them the center of his world. Stephen enjoyed his work where he worked is way up over the last 25 years and truly enjoyed the people he worked with at Noble Met, now Integer, where he stayed working full-time up until his passing. If you know Stephen, that probably doesn’t surprise you.

There are no words to express how much his physical presence will be missed, but we know he will be with us all in many other ways. He was the best partner in life, the most loving father, and a great friend to many. Thank you to all that have and continue to support our family. There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later time. If you would like to make a donation in Stephen’s honor, we would ask you to support the Grandin Film Lab. Carter participated in this program over his high-school years and it brought our family so much joy. Nothing would make Stephen happier than supporting this non-profit program. We also want to particularly thank Dr. Dominque Dempah at Lewis-Gale who truly went above and beyond for Stephen. We also want to thank Good Samaritan Hospice, while we only had their services for two days, they truly supported us through this process. And to Stephen, you deserved so much better. We all love you and our lives are better by having the time we had with you, although it was way too short. We will see you on the other side of the rainbow.
