Steve Terry
With heavy hearts, we celebrate the life and memory of our beloved uncle, husband, grandfather, brother, stepfather, and friend, Steve.
Steve was born in Germany on June 28, 1959, and passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026. He was a one-of-a-kind person who brought his own special personality and humor into the lives of everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for his love of horror movies, Halloween, wrestling, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Virginia Cavaliers—all passions that brought him great joy and that he could share with anyone who knew him well.
Steve also had a special love for animals. His animals were not simply pets; they were family, and the love and care he gave them showed the kind of heart he had.
Steve leaves behind his beloved wife, Karen; his granddaughter, Casey; his stepson, Jeff; his sisters, Becky and Sharon; his lifelong friend, Ryne; and countless nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.
He will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor and remember him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carolyn and Jack; his brothers, Mike and Ronnie; and his sister, Arlene.
Although Steve is no longer with us, the memories he created will remain. He will be remembered for the things that made him uniquely Steve—his love of horror movies, wrestling, Halloween, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Virginia Cavaliers, his love for his animals, and most importantly, the place he held in the hearts of his family and friends.
Today, we do not only mourn the loss of Steve. We celebrate the life he lived, the people he loved, and the memories he leaves behind.
Rest peacefully, Steve. You will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
