Steven Leo Goff
Steven Leo Goff, SR. of Fieldale, Va passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at
Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC. He was born on January 17, 1953 to
Marguerite Goff and William Burton Goff,. In addition to his parents, he is preceded
in death by one sister, Donna Bean, four Brothers, Billy, Terry, Ronald , Larry Goff,
two grandchildren, Eric Dwane Goff,II and Robbie Goff (Stevie/Felix Goff) .
He was a member of Victory Christian Center Church and was in the United States
Army. During the Vietnam conflict. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and spent
many days camping with the family. Steven and Gloria would take eight
grandchildren to the beach. He was a family man who never met a stranger. The
family considered him a “Gentle Giant” to the family. He sang gospel music with a
quartet. He was a very patriotic citizen and loved Our Flag.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Jean Goff, three daughters, Lori Michelle Stowe
(Rodney) of Spencer, Va, Rebecca Barnhart of Pennsylvania, Stephany Bokman
(Kevin) of Horsepasture, Va, two sons, Steven Leo Goff , Jr (Kimmy) of Collinsville,
Va. and Eric Dwane Goff (Amy) of Stuart, Va ,Two Sisters; Joy Prince (Ralph) of
Clarksburg, W.Va, Kay Maul of Shinston,W.VA . Also, he has sixteen grandchildren
and nineteen great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Norris
Funeral Services Chapel in Martinsville with Pastor Janet McGhee officiating. Burial
will follow at Roselawn Burial Park in Martinsville, There will be a visitation one hour
prior to service starting at 9:00 am.
