Steven Thomas Marsh

Steven Marsh of Bassett, VA passed away on March 21, 2024 at the age of 59. Steven was born on April 6, 1964 to Rachel Snead Marsh and F.E. Marsh. He was a graduate of Bassett High School and Lynchburg College. Steven began his career as a sports reporter at the Franklin News Post and was employed by the Roanoke Times for 36 years. He received numerous awards for his professional work and for his work in the community. Steven will be greatly missed by his many cousins and friends. Burial will be private with a celebration of life to be announced at a later date. Donations may be made in Steven’s name to a charity of your choice.
