Sue Taylor Nash

Sue Taylor Nash, 89, of the Figsboro Community passed away at her home on Saturday, March 9, 2024. She was born on July 21, 1934, in Franklin County, Va to the late Noel M. Taylor and Clemmie Young Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, America Taylor Hankins, brothers, Jesse Winford Taylor, Jimmy Lowell Taylor, George Taylor and Troy Taylor.

Ms. Nash worked as a Medical Records Director for Martinsville General Hospital where she retired after 46 years of service. She was a member of McCabe Memorial Baptist Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School classes.

Sue is survived by her son, Roger Nash (Judy) of Franklin County, sister, Loretta Taylor Mills, grandchildren, Megan Nash of Roanoke, VA and Joshua Nash (Donna) of Franklin County, VA, great-grandchildren, Landon Nash and Realyn Nash.

There will be a graveside service at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Roselawn Burial Park, Martinsville, VA with Pastor Ricky Bates officiating. Friends and family are invited to come by Norris Funeral Home on Monday the 11th or Tuesday the 12th to sign the register book and pay their respects.
