Susan Elaine Huff

Susan Elaine Huff, age 63 of Rocky Mount went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Susan was born on December 5, 1961, in Warner Robins, GA. She was the daughter of Buford Louis Evans and Jean Delores Hampton Evans. Susan graduated from Patrick Henry High School and earned a business degree from Virginia Western Community College. Susan married the love of her life, Terry Huff on May 16, 1998, and they renewed their vows on May 27, 2017. Remaining to cherish Susan's memory are her husband, Terry Huff; daughters, Melissa Waldron, Sabrina Waldron, Jessica Huff and son, Justin Huff; her ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; her three sisters and four brothers, along with many nieces, nephews and her special baby boy, Lightning. Susan was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Hampton Evans and father Buford Evans, and her brother Buford Evans Jr. Susan loved her family dearly and always enjoyed any opportunity to spend time with them. She enjoyed being outside fishing with hotdogs on her hook, riding the boat, four-wheelers, SXS's, campfires, and panning for gold and gems. Her family and friends will feel the loss of this very special woman with a heart bigger than most. Susan will always be in our hearts, thoughts and memories until we see her again in Heaven. A memorial service will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel 3:00 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2025 with Pastor Gary Hoffman officiating. Her family will receive friends at Pigg River Community Center for dinner following the service. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
