Susan Krantz Nuckols

Susan Anne Krantz Nuckols, 69, of Amherst, peacefully went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

Born in Washington, D.C., on February 19, 1956, Susan was the daughter of the late Alton Otis Krantz and Ruby Lee Nash White. She dedicated much of her life to caring for her home and family, finding joy in crafting and sewing. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she was an active member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, where she loved volunteering for various ministries.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Krantz.

Susan is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Richard Nuckols, as well as two beloved aunts, Evelyn Condrey and Mary Pilkowski.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Presbyterian Cemetery, with Pastor Dwayne Martin officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ebenezer Baptist Church, 882 Ebenezer Rd., Amherst, VA 24521.

Susan’s kindness, faith, and love for others will be dearly missed but forever cherished by those who knew her.
