Susan Rachel Braham

June 21, 1981 - October 30, 2026

Susan Rachel Braham, 45, of Axton, Virginia, entered the gates of heaven peacefully at her home on October 30, 2026, surrounded by family.

Born in 1981, Susan's life was defined by hard work, determination, compassion, and strength.

A hard worker in every sense of the word, she approached life with dedication, perseverance, and a drive to be the best she could be. She not only worked hard for herself, but also encouraged those around her to believe in themselves, reach their full potential, and never settle for less than they were capable of achieving. Her motivation, guidance, and example inspired others to push through challenges and strive for greatness.

Above all, she had a caring heart. She valued the people in their lives and showed her love through her actions, her support, and her willingness to be there when it mattered most. Her impact reached beyond words, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She was a fighter in every sense of the word. Even when faced with life's toughest battles, she continued to show courage, resilience, and an unwavering determination to keep going. She fought until the very end, demonstrating a strength that will never be forgotten.

Though her time with us has come to an end, the lessons she taught, the lives she touched, and the love she shared will continue to live on. Her legacy is one of hard work, perseverance, kindness, and the belief that we should always strive to be our best.

She may be gone from our sight, but Susan will never be forgotten. Her strength will continue to inspire us, her love will remain in our hearts, and her memory will live on through all those whose lives she made better.

She is predeceased by her daughter, Shiane Lacey Flippen; her mother, Joyce Braham; a stepson, Josh Rudd; and many aunts and uncles.
