She worked for over 35 years for Long Island Jewish Medical Center where she continuously rose through the ranks and constantly strove for the best not only for her patients but also her fellow nurses. Once she retired, she was still constantly on the move, whether it be traveling the world, acting as secretary of her community women's club, or deep in genealogy charts. Susan lived in retirement in St. Augustine, FL, where she met Bob, and the two spent many great years together, before moving to Richmond, VA to be closer to family. She was an amazing and generous mother, who adored her role as mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Family and friends are invited to a gathering in her honor from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, May 31, 2025 at CrossRidge Community Pavillion, 3300 CrossRidge Glen Way, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
