Suzanne Mays Turner

Suzanne Mays Turner, of Patrick Springs, Virginia, went home to be with Jesus on August 22, 2023. Suzanne was born in Rocky Mount, VA, on September 10, 1959, to Bill and Temple Mays. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Bill and Mavis Mays; maternal grandparents, Russell and Averia Miles; father, Bill Mays, Jr.; brother, Will Mays; and son, Mathew Turner.

Surviving are her husband, Len Turner; daughter, Carri Turner; mother, Temple Mays; brother, Bart Mays (Tonya); niece, Brooklynn Mays; nephews, Jacob and Jaxon Mays and Austin Mason; and great nephew, Watson Mays.

Suzanne was an avid Yankee and Tar Heel fan. She enjoyed traveling with Len during his military career and just getting out riding and enjoying the beauty of God's creation.

A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, August 27 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Collinsville, with Rev. Dr. Larry Cheek officiating.
