Sylvia Eaves Brown, 75 of Blacksburg passed away peacefully at Roanoke Memorial Hospital on Thursday, June 26, 2025. She was born to the late Issac and Heartsease Eaves. She is survived by her son, John C. Brown, Jr.; sister, Hazel Price (Randolph); brothers, Thomas (Jessie) Eaves and Ronald Eaves; uncle, Benjamin Milton; honorary grandson, Alan Tinsdale; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. The family humbly and gratefully appreciates the many acts of love and kindness you have extended to us during this time of bereavement. May God bless each of you. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
