Tara Marie Hooper

Tara Marie Hooper, 34, affectionally known as YaYa by her siblings and close friends and family, of Appomattox, died on March 10, 2024.

Born November 17th, 1989, she is survived by her parents, Nathan and Noël Henderson; two brothers, Dakota Henderson (Danielle) and Tucker Henderson (Sarah); one sister, Delaney Henderson; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and grandparents.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Hooper; and grandparents, Louis Polster and Mary-Leigh George.

Tara touched so many lives and was loved by all. She was loud, goofy and bubbly and could light up a room instantly. No matter the obstacles Tara faced, she always had a smile on her face. Tara had a fierce love for her pup Gaia. She will forever be missed and loved.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
