Terry Linwood Sifford

Terry Linwood Sifford, 74, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024. He was born November 18, 1949, Montgomery County, Virginia, to the late Melvin Sifford and Athaleen Hubbard Sifford.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Jenkins; brothers, Mickey Sifford, Donald Sifford, and Thomas (Gene) Sifford.Terry proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a big Teddy bear, accepted everybody and he never met a stranger. He loved fishing, tinkering, family and the beach.He is survived by is wife of seventeen years, Kaye Hutchens Sifford; daughters, Tabatha Bancroft (Ray), Brandy Sifford, Ashlie Provo (Robert), Angela Keith (Anthony), and Barbara Lee (Matthew); son, Joey Hutchens; sister, Patricia Lane; twenty-three grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.Visitation will be Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. The Funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM with Pastor Jerry Hutchens officiating.Wright Funeral Service and Crematory is serving the family.
