Terry Lynn Boyte

Terry Lynn Boyte, 67, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024. He was born July 2, 1957, in Rockingham County, North Carolina , to the late Elwood Boyte and Shirlee Mae Hankins Boyte.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Lee Chitwood.Terry proudly served our country in the United States Navy for twelve years. He enjoyed working outside in the yard. Terry treasured the moments spent with his family watching movies and just being together. He was a man of great humor, always making others laugh. After a long day he would relax by enjoying a good cigar.He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Bennett (Jaison); and sister, Kellie Boyte (Artie).The Memorial Service will be Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 2:30 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor A.C. Palmer officiating. Military Honors will be presented by The Martinsville & Henry County Veterans Honor Guard.
