Terry Reese Carter

Terry Reese Carter, 69, passed away peacefully at her residence on May 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Terry was born in Danville, VA on September 4, 1956 to Mrs. Ruby Moore Reese and the late Charles Wesley Reese. She is survived by her loving husband of many years, Mr. Charles Richard Carter Jr.

Terry was of the Christian Faith, and attended Hillcrest Baptist Church. She worked for many years as a waitress at Rubens Too Restaurant, previous to her retirement.

In addition to her husband, Terry is survived by three daughters; Carey Walker and husband Corey, Carmen Coble and husband Dale, and Courtney Carter all of Danville, VA; two brothers; Tracy Reese and wife Greta and Toby Reese and wife Holly; seven grandchildren; Charles Richard Carter III (Abigail Hudson), Abigail Coble, Reed Coble, Nicole Walker, Sarah Walker, Chance Brumfield and Carter King; one great grandson; Charles Richard Carter IV; and a special Uncle; Doyle “Buster” Moore (Janelle).

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Tunstall Fire and Rescue, 740 Tunstall High Road, Dry Fork, VA 24549.
