Terry Richard Cave

Terry Richard Cave, 68, of Mount Airy, North Carolina passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024. Born February 18, 1956, to the late Jasper Roosevelt Cave and Virginia Mae Freeman Cave. Terry was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend. He was an avid outdoorsman. Terry struggled with his health for a long time but never complained, that was just the kind of man he was. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Deborah “Debbie” Butcher Cave; daughter and son-in-law, Oshen Wallin and Jonathan; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Justin Sands and Dr. Danelle Fourie; mother, Virginia Freeman Cave; grandchildren, Caden Wallin, Kyleigh Wallin, and Tyler Wallin; special “bonus” son, Matthew McMillian; sister and brother-in-law, Lydia Johnson and Jimmy; brother and sister-in-law, Chris Cave and Lisa; father-in-law, Thomas Butcher; as well as, many nieces and nephews. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Margaret Butcher. The family will receive friends Friday, November 8, 2024, from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Home. The Funeral will take place in the Moody-Davis Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 PM following the visitation Friday. Burial will follow in the Flat Top Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson, NC is serving the Cave family.
