Theresa Lyann Sochor

Theresa Lyann Sochor, 68, of Troutville, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, May 26, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents Bobby and Freda Pearl Smith; daughter, Christine Sochor.

Theresa is survived by her husband Eric Sochor; son, Tommy Sochor and wife Aileen; grandson, Thaddeus Sochor; brother, Chuck Smith; former sister-in-law, Cheryl Smith; niece and nephew Caitlyn Smith and Connor Smith.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Trinity Reformed Baptist Church (7965 Dunahoo Drive Boones Mill, Virginia 24065).

Services will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 11:00 am at Trinity Reformed Baptist Church (7965 Dunahoo Drive Boones Mill, Virginia 24065). Interment will follow services at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am prior to the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home Peters Creek Road Chapel.
