Thomas Edison Bullock

Thomas Edison Bullock, Jr., 73, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024. He was born August 25, 1950, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late Thomas Edison Bullock, Sr. and Estelle Stone Bullock.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Anita Bullock Sparks.Tom was a member of Mercy Crossing Church. Graduated in 1969 from the Nashville Auto Deisel College in Tennessee. Tom received his Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Old Dominion University and an Associate’s Degree from Patrick Henry Community College. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and received many academic honors while attending both colleges.Tom was a motorcycle enthusiast and loved fast cars. Tom was a devoted Christian that put God first. He was a genuinely authentic person who was kind and loving. He loved his family immensely and his son was the highlight of his life. He was an artist and enjoyed drawing and painting. His life was filled with a love for horses and other animals. Tom loved being outdoors. He could often be found fixing and old car or cooking in the kitchen.He is survived by his only son, Dustin Bullock and wife Vicky. His stepdaughter Sarah Preston, husband BJ. Brother, C.B. Bullock and wife Trish. He has numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and family that he loved.The celebration of life will be Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Jackie Poe officiating.
