Thomas Edward Bobbitt

Tom went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 15, 2024.  He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Sonia Bobbitt; his children: Theresa Moore, Eddie Bobbitt (Jennifer), Karina Rivera, Elvis Rivera (Metoi) and Sergio Rivera; grandchildren: Léna Ford (Matt), Todd Booth, Cheyenne Hopcroft, Miguel Hopcroft, Keith Hopcroft, Chris Bobbitt (Mikala), Kaitlyn Hodges (Tanner), Joseph Rivera, Prianna Rivera, and Provenzo Rivera.  Also, survived by numerous great-grandchildren.  Special friends/family: Theresa Adams (Bill), Maria Rodriguez, Wayne Hodges (Janice), Frank Carter, and Elisabeth Hernandez (Alberto).  Special thanks to Mountain Valley Hospice Care.              Tom served honorably in the U.S. Navy for 10 years and was on his beloved USS Enterprise.  He enjoyed his friendships from his 37 years working at Opa Locka airport, where he retired as Maintenance Supervisor.  Tom loved golf, fishing, and popcorn.  He enjoyed watching sports and war movies.  He served on the puppet ministry with his wife, Sonia at Halesford Baptist Church.              He loved his family and cherished his wife, Sonia.Arrangements by Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 62 VA Market Place Drive, Rocky Mount, Virginia 24151
