Thomas Eugene Sifford

Thomas Eugene Sifford, 80, of Bassett, VA passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at his home. He was born March 16, 1943 in Welch, WV to the late Melvin Marion Sifford and Athleen Avery Sifford. He was also predeceased by his sister, Nancy Jenkins and brothers, Donald Sifford and Mickie Sifford.

Mr. Sifford was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and worked as an electrician.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Harris Sifford; son, Timothy Sifford (Terry); daughters, Tracey Hill and Teresa Holt; grandchildren, Jacob Hill, Tucker Hill, Jennifer Sifford, Dylan Sifford, and Matthew Holt (Sierra); great-grandchildren, Tatumn Sifford, Trenadee, Jurnee, and Slaytor Holt; brother, Terry Sifford (Kaye); and sister, Patricia Edwards.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2023 at Fairview Baptist Church with Pastor David Boarman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Henry Memorial Park.
