Timmy Ray Trump

Timmy Ray Trump, 68, of Botetourt passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on February 1, 2023. 

Tim was born August 24, 1954, in Christiansburg, Virginia a son of the late Eslie and Doris Trump.

Tim is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Anita Trump; daughters, Whitney McIlhany and Emily Bryant (Travis); stepdaughters, Tonya Coffey and Samantha Willenbring (Caleb); brother, Greg Trump (Vicki); Nephew, Brian Trump; grandchildren, Lachlan, Iain, Natalie, Caleb, Ethan, Layla, Brittney, Trent, Evan and Levi; and great grandson, Braxton.

Tim spent the majority of his career at Dominion Metallurgical (Dommet) as a project manager for 28 years.  He enjoyed spending his time reading, camping, hiking, and taking photographs.  Tim especially loved entertaining friends and family at cookouts and pool parties.  Christmas was his favorite holiday as he cherished decorating and baking with his grandchildren.  He was a dear friend to many and a beloved family man who adored is grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Simpson Funeral Home located at 5160 Peters Creek Road NW Roanoke, VA 24019.  The family will begin receiving friends at 2:00 p.m.
