Timothy Alton Gammons

Mr. Timothy Alton Gammons, 63 of Mount Airy, passed away at his home on Monday October 5, 2026. He was born in Surry County, March 11, 1963, to Alton James Gammons and Jean Carol Burch Gammons. Mr. Gammons worked for Foothills Flooring for many years. Tim was an avid Tarheel basketball fan, loved watching NASCAR, and was very kindhearted. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gammons is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Greg and Michelle Gammons, and Kenny and Tammy Gammons; three nephews, Ethan and Cassie Gammons, Jeffery Gammons, and Andrew Gammons; and by his Foothills Flooring family. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Woodville Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00am with Rev. Rickey Martin officiating.
