Tommy Lee Turner

Tommy Lee Turner, 72, of Bassett, Va. passed away on February 12, 2024. He was born in Martinsville, Va. July 15, 1951 to the late Paul Maxwell Turner and Margaret Henderson Turner.He is survived by his brother, Paul M. Turner Jr. (Jan); nephews Shane Ingram (Lisa); great nephews, Turner Ingram (Rachel) and Evan Ingram; and many beloved cousins and great friends.Tommy cut a wide path in life. He loved his family and friends and made the most of the time he had with them. He loved Chevrolet and was especially proud of his new 2023 Corvette. The picture of him above, where he looks like a mule eating briars, was one he made of himself on the day he bought his vette.He was a sports enthusiast and loved watching NASCAR, football, basketball and baseball. He also loved his very friendly pit bull, T-Bone. The family respectfully request no flowers.Memorial donations may be made in leiu of flowers to The American Heart Asociation, 1922Martin Luther King Drive Winston-Salem NC 27107 in Tommy's memory.
