Tony Darrell Conner

Tony Darrell Conner, 71, born November 7, 1954, of Christiansburg, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at the Salem VA Medical Center in Salem, Virginia. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Margie Conner; brother Albert “Lee” Conner; Uncles Golden “Kenny” Akers, Russell and Bernice Akers; Cousin George “Davis” Akers. He is survived by his sons, Anthony S. Conner, Darell and Amanda Conner; daughters, Jessica and Travis Harris, Rebecca and Heath Burnett. Thirteen grandchildren, Remington, Hunter, Noah, and Liam Conner; Cole, Ayla, and Adaleigh Conner; McKenzie and Chance Gosney, Dakotah, Conner, and Walker Harris; Elena and Hailee Burnett. Great-grandchild, Novalyn “Novalena” Conner Brothers, Mark and Sue Conner, Tim and Martha Conner, Sister Sandra Conner; Sister-in-law Freda Conner; Aunt Dott and Uncle David plus their family; Nephews, Winsten and Samantha Conner, Clayton Conner, Joseph and Leah Conner plus their kids, Troy Harris, Derek and Tracy Conner plus their kids, Jon and Pam Conner plus their kids. Nieces Brittany and Brian Wolf. Tony was born and raised in Christiansburg, Virginia. Tony was an outdoorsman; in his spare time, he always wanted to hunt, fish, and go trapping. Beyond that, you could always find him at the house making hats to sell at markets. He was beyond proud of all his children and grandchildren's accomplishments. Tony never missed a football or basketball game that his grandchildren had. Tony was also a man who followed Jesus; he never went too far from his bible. While we grieve here on earth, we, the family, all know he finally made it home. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 1:00 pm, at the Bible Holiness Church. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Bible Holiness Church from 12:00 - 1:00 pm, prior to the service on Friday, September 4, 2026.
