Tyler Michael Barry
Tyler Michael Barry, age 28, passed away suddenly on May 29th, 2024, at his home in Fremont, California. He was born on April 10th, 1996. Tyler was a beacon of light and positivity whose impact on the world extended far beyond his years.
At his core, Tyler was dedicated to being an athlete for life. He excelled in baseball, a passion that began in his youth and carried him through college and into adulthood. His dedication and talent on the field were matched by his academic achievements. Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Liberty University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Tyler demonstrated a commitment to his studies and a deep desire to make a difference in the lives of others. He was pursuing his Master’s and Doctorate in Psychology, driven by a desire to help young people.
Tyler loved California. After moving to the San Francisco Bay Area, Tyler enjoyed the outdoors, hiking and climbing in the Diablo Mountain Range, where he found solace and inspiration watching the sunset over the San Francisco Bay nearly every evening.
Tyler was a man of immense humor and wisdom with the ability to make others feel better, endearing him to many he met by offering support, laughter, and friendship. Beyond his academic and athletic accomplishments, he was a successful investor, working closely with his father to support multiple business ventures. His sharp mind and spirit were evident in all he undertook.
Tyler is survived by his loving parents, Susan and Michael Barry, his devoted sister, Alex Arthur, and his cherished niece and nephew, Sloane and Wells. His family was his greatest joy, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
The suddenness of his passing is a reminder of the fragility of life, and he will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. Tyler’s legacy of kindness, intelligence, and dedication will continue to inspire and influence those he leaves behind.
