Vanessa Wimbush Dillard

Vanessa Dillard, 69 of Collinsville, Virginia, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024. She was born, November 14, 1954 in Patrick County, Virginia , to the late Abe Via and Annie Lee Wimbush Hairston.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Dillard; brothers, Claude “Chubby” Wimbush and Paul “BoBo” Wimbush.Vanessa is survived by her daughters; Tamika Frazier, Lechicia Dillard, Keia Price, and special daughter, Lorrie Stokes, sons; Tiwan Dillard (Heather) and Shikeese Price; sisters, Lisa Wells and Rosemary Via Copening, brother; John Henry Wells; thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.The Funeral will be Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Refuge Temple Ministries at 12:00 PM with Pastor Marhsall Lee Wells, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in the Wimbush Cemetery located at 2639 Pilson Sawmill Road, Stuart, VA 24171.
