Vicenta Del Pozo Bridgman

Vicenta “Vinnie” Del Pozo Bridgman, 83, of Roanoke, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

Vinnie is survived by her loving husband, Carl J. Bridgman; sons, Daniel “Dan” Bridgman (Regina) and Robert “Rob” Bridgman (Melody); daughters, Carla Simmons and Beverly Monroe (Chris); grandchildren, Sarah Griffin (Chris), Caila Warnock, Brandon Warnock, Tobi Burke, and Jacquelyn Squires (Zack); great grandchildren, James, Emory, and Zanovia; sister, Mary Olin (Creighton); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vinnie was the perfect “helpmeet” who thought of nothing but supporting her husband and being a wonderful, nurturing mother. Her love for the Lord was evident in her life, and she is now in His loving arms.

The family will have a Celebration of Life Service on Monday, July 6, 2026 at 3:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019, with Pastor Kevin Cummings officiating.
