Vickie Lynn Bowman , 63, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024. She was born January 23, 1961, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late Donald Bowman, Sr. and Katherine McPeak Bowman.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Sarah Clark.Vickie proudly served her country in the United States Navy during peace time, but she was a proud supporter of our veterans, she loved UNC ball and TikTok.She is survived by her daughters, Katrina Bowman and Tiffany Sharpe (Russell); sister, Rhonda B. Walker; and brother, Donald W. Bowman, Jr.; grandchildren, Charity Reynolds, Alysa Williams, David “Bubba” Sharpe, Jake Sharpe, Trey Sharpe, Keatyn Clark; great- grandchildren, Harlow, Nathaniel, Kree, Emerson, Scarlet, Aisley, Oakley.There will be a memorial service Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 3 PM, at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Phillip Woods officiating. Military Honors will be presented by The Martinsville & Henry County Veterans Honor Guard.
