Vickie Willard Lynch

Mrs. Vickie Willard Lynch, 65, of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, passed away Saturday June 1, 2024. Born November 6, 1958, in Forsyth County to the late Monroe Willard and Beatrice Cain Tucker. Vickie was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She worked for 17 years for the Stokes County School System and attended Brim’s Grove Baptist Church. When she was able, Vickie loved to travel. She also cherished her time spent with her “baby girls”. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Ronnie Lynch; father, Monroe Willard; and brother, Larry Willard. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Beatrice Cain Tucker; son and daughter-in-law, Allan and Leona Childress; step-son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Tiffany Lynch; grandchildren, Lillian and Addison Childress; step grandchild, Amelia Lynch; sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Steve Phillips; brothers and sisters-in-law, Junior and Mary Griffin, and Terry and Judy Willard; sister-in-law and friend, Linda Lynch Chilton; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service to honor her life will be Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Brim’s Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Dean Barley and Reverend Rob Sizemore officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow in the Brim’s Grove Baptist Church cemetery.Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the family.
