Vincent Dale Hairston, 64, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023. He was born February 13, 1959, to the late Leonard Hairston and Lillian Marie Jackson Hairston.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Alice Castro; brothers, Ronald Hairston, Leonard Hairston, and Lewis HairstonVincent was a member of Mount Zion AME and served in the United States Army.He is survived by his daughters, Tynika Hairston and Brittney Ross; sisters, Lousie Jones (Bill), Joyce Hale, Barbara Scales, Linda Staples, Constance Hairston, Vanessa Hairston, Faye Hairston Brown (Charles), and Detra Jones; brothers, Dennis Hairston (Regina) and Barry Hairston; and five grandchildren.A floating visitation will be held on Sunday, November 26, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel, 1425 Greensboro Road, Martinsville. Burial will follow on Monday, November 27, at 11:00 AM, at Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, 5550 Bagging Plant Road, Dublin, Virginia 24084.The family will receive friends and family at the home of  Tynika Hairston, 1214 Maxine Road, Martinsville, Virginia 24112.Wright Funeral Service and Crematory is serving the family.
