Virginia "Ginann" Ann Motley

Virginia “Ginann” Ann Motley, 74, passed away peacefully at her residence on November 10, 2024 surrounded by her family. Virginia was born on March 3, 1950, in Danville, VA to the late Louise Early Motley and the late Carl Owen Motley.

Virginia was of the Baptist Faith and a Member of Chestnut Level Baptist Church, where she also was a member of the church WMU. She was also a member of the Blind Bowlers Association, and was a Homemaker.

Virginia is survived by two sisters; Linda Myers (Hartwell) of Chatham, VA and Kay Barnes (C.D.) of Blairs, VA; a niece; Jennifer Yeatts (Jason); four nephews; Chris McKinney (Carolyn), Thomas Myers (Kristen), Adam Myers (Jenny), and John Myers; three great nieces; Morgan Yeatts (Jake), Madelyn Myers, and June Myers; and three great nephews; Matthew McKinney (Shianne), Jacob Myers, and Lucas Myers.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday November 14, 2024 at 2:00pm, at Norris Funeral Services, West End Chapel, Danville, VA, with Pastor Bruce Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 6-7:30pm at Norris Funeral Services West End Chapel. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence of her niece, Mrs. Jennifer Yeatts.
