Wade Bennett Alley

Mr. Wade Bennett Alley, age 75 of Martinsville, VA passed asway on May18, 2025

Mr. Alley was born on July 5, 1949 to William Howard Alley and Mollie Wade Alley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Blankenship Alley, three sisters, Betty Smith, Nancy Alley, Nellie Alley, four brothers, Buddy Alley, Rudy Alley, Donald Alley and Samuel Alley. He was retired from Henry County Plywood. He enjoyed fishing and loved his dog, Archie. He was a simple, humble fellow and loved each and everyone of his family members with all of his heart. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Wade is survived by two sons, Clarence Mitchem and Eldon Moore, one sister, Pearly Alley, grandchildren, Elizabeth Alger, Stephanie Mitchem, C.W. Mitchem and Nova Moore, great grandchildren, Alice, Sydney, Leland, Arabella and Peyton, many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Henry Memorial Park.
