Walter "W.C." Clarence Warren

Walter “W.C.” Clarence Warren Jr., 101, entered into his heavenly home on July 8, 2023. W.C. was born in Person County, NC on June 6, 1922 to the late Mable Warren and the late Walter Clarence Warren Sr. He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Mrs. Millicent Winstead Warren.

W.C. was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, and was the owner operator for many years of Warren’s Warehouse in Danville, VA. He also proudly served his country and was a veteran of the US Army.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter; Suzanne Schwank (Rick) of Beaufort, SC; three step sons; Steve Talent (Norma), Chris Talent (Wanda) and Chan Cassell (Kim); and a special friend, David Terrell Jr.

In addition to his parents, W.C. was predeceased by a son; W.C. Warren III and his special cat; Mopsy.

A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 2:00pm at Danville Memorial Gardens with Pastor Bob Yeaman officiating. At other times the family will be receiving friends each day after 12:00 noon at the residence.
