Wanda Ann Jenkins Trivette

Mrs. Wanda Ann Jenkins Trivette, age 80, of Dobson, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home. She was born in Surry Co, on November 28, 1942, to the late Cephus Jenkins and the late Mattie Mae Childress Jenkins, in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Gray Trivette; grandson Alan Gray Baker. She was a member of New Grace Baptist Church, was a retired CNA for Pruitt Health. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Mark Baker, Mattie and Jerry Lane, Kimberly Trivette Lewis; grandchildren, Terri and William Rudoff, Timothy and Janella Baker, Mitchell Baker, Michael Baker, Brandon Peacock, Kayla and Charlie Widner; great-grandchildren, Sherlyn Perez, Braylen Peacock, Mikayla Baker, Danielle Rudoff, Drew Rudoff, Avalynn Widner, Sadie Widner; two brothers, Rev. Allen and Kathy Jenkins, Rev Bill and Patricia Jenkins; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 29, 2023 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home with burial to follow in the New Grace Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday March 29, 2023 one hour before the service. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home for making the last days of their mother’s life peaceful and comfortable.
