Wanda S. Spencer

Wanda S. Spencer, 71, of Collinsville, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Carilion-Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  She was born in Franklin County on October 26, 1950, to the late Posey Mitchell Sigmon and Leo Ray Smith Sigmon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leonard “Mutt” Spencer; a son, Jeffery Spencer; daughter, Diane Vaught; grandson, Josh Williams.
Wanda is survived by her daughters, Deborah Spencer, Susan Foley (Mike) and Sharon Cunningham (Rudy); 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Laymon Sigmon; sister, Juanita Ferguson (Jackie); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 26, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 1:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Henry.
