Wendy Michele Lawhorn, 52, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 28, 2023.
She is survived by her son, Chance Lawhorn; grandson, Luka; parents, Ron and Sandee Schutts; grandparents, Doug and Dee Wainscott; sister, Melanie Sarks; fiancée, Levi Ayers, and many uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.
Wendy touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with. She fought valiantly against cancer, and she will be deeply missed by all.
A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
The family is especially grateful to all relatives, friends, and co-workers that prayed, helped with her care, and brought food and/or cards. A special thank you to Wendy, Missy, Donna, Cheyenne, Cindy, and also to Gentle Shepherd Hospice.
