Wilbert Cecil Dunbar

Wilbert “Buddy” Cecil Dunbar Jr., 86, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 24, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Grice Dunbar; son, Duane Allen Dunbar; parents, Wilbert and Helen Dunbar; brother, John Gibson Dunbar; sister, Bonnie Dunbar; and In-laws, Golden and Dorothy Grice.

Left to cherish his memory are his sisters-in-law, Judy (Roy) Gross, Patty (Corky) Coughlin, and Evelyn Dunbar; nieces, Angie Cole, Lori Coughlin, and Kim Cain; and nephews, Greg Dunbar and Stephen Dunbar.

He retired as Vice President of Salem Frame Company and owned The Record Shop at Happy's and later on Williamson Road.

The family will have a Graveside Service on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 2:00pm at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5731 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, VA 24012
