William Anthony Towler Obituary
William Anthony Towler, 60, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026. He was born November 1, 1965, in Chatham, Virginia, to the late Billy Joe Towler and Linda Crabb Louhoff.

In addition to his father, William was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Kaye Williams Towler; brothers-in-law, Terry Williams and Bobby Williams; and sister-in-law, Betty Hicks.

William was a hardworking man who spent his career in landscaping, where he was the owner of his own business. He will be remembered as a man with a big heart and a short fuse, but as someone who was loyal to those he loved. He was an amazing father and grandfather. He loved his grandchildren deeply and treasured the time he was able to spend with his family. He loved racing and was an avid Richard Petty fan.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Billy Lee Towler (Jessica); two grandchildren, Nicholas Charles Towler (Serenity) and Joshua Isaiah Towler; one sister, Elizabeth Andrews (Mike); brothers, Barry Wayne Towler (Regina) and Scottie Towler; nieces, Jessica Daniels, Brianna Towler, Crissy Hartley, and Laura Beth; nephews, Phillip Tikki" Osbourne; Travis Daniels, Cody Towler, Justin Towler, Dakota Hicks; sisters-in-law, Margaret Hams (Joe) and Linda Hicks; and a host of other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Martinsville Chapel.
