William "Billy" Elmer Manspile

William Elmer Manspile “Billy” 66 of Elliston, VA passed away on May 8th, 2025 at Lewis Gale Hospital. He was born February 7th, 1959.

Billy is survived by his devoted wife Sherry Manspile and a loving father to David Workman, Misty Workman, and Bobbi Suttles. Grandchildren Felecity Workman, Jyrnee Workman, Ryker Workman, Phillip Perkins, Nathanial Workman, Addison Suttles, Kayden Workman, Alexis Hatcher, Colton Suttles, and two great – grandchildren. Siblings Joan Jennings, Judy Christenson, Ronnie Manspile and Susie Manspile. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents James and Cellus Manspile, and brothers Robert Manspile and Don Manspile.

Dad was hard-working and dedicated. He spent 20 plus years working as an installer for Cook Siding & Windows. Though Dad may not have liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored. He was a man of kindness and generosity, and he has left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

We find comfort in knowing that Dad’s legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared and the memories we will cherish forever.

On May 13th a visitation will be held at 1pm at Bethel Baptist Church with a 2pm memorial service to follow.
