Wilson Henry Kinsey

Wilson Henry Kinsey II, age 64 of Boones Mill passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025. Wilson was born June 7, 1961 in Roanoke, Va. He was the second son of Wilson Henry Kinsey, Sr. (also known as Bill) and Joyce Elaine Swanson Kinsey. He enjoyed hunting and riding his Harley. He also enjoyed every moment with friends and family. Wilson attended and graduated from Patrick Henry High School. He then later became partners with Mike and Mark with BMW Construction for 30 years and were the best of friends. Wilson was always a free spirit and a stubborn man.

Wilson was very humble and kind to all. He never met a stranger and was so loving and caring, and he always had a smile on his face. He would do anything that was asked of him if he could and was loved by so many and will truly be missed.

Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Brinda Kinsey; son, Wilson Kinsey III; and the apples of his eye his grandchildren, Arizona, Earl, Maigen and Drew; daughter-in-law, Tammy Kinsey; brother, Gwynn (GK) Kinsey; niece, Tracey Kinsey and her two children; brother, Ray Braley and his family; sister, Linda Gale Kinsey Floyd and her family; and all his friends.

Funeral services will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel 4:00 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2025 with Pastor Caleb Walker officiating. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
