Windell Venson Plaster

Windall Venson Plaster, 71, entered into his heavenly rest Sunday, May 25, 2025, in Bassett, Virginia. He was born June 29, 1953, to the late Joseph Plaster and Velma Aleine Tilley Plaster in Hampton, Virginia.

He was a devout Christian whose life was forever changed when he came to know the Lord. He was devoted to his faith community and was part of the Baptist affiliation. Windall graduated from Martinsville High School and went into the workforce, taking great pride in his work as a machinist for Smart Machinery and was also employed by Eastman Chemical Company for many years. He took enjoyment in his work, which was evidenced by the pride he took in all of his projects.

Windall is survived by his son, Christopher David Plaster; sisters, Linda Langely (Mike), Kaye Newman (Jimmy); and special aunt, JoAnn Norman. They will forever cherish his memory and hold him close to their hearts as they remember the life and legacy of love that he left behind.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Old Center Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery at 4410 Stones Dairy Road, Bassett, Virginia, with pastor Jason Alverson officiating.
