Wyatt Adams Stinson
Wyatt Adams Stinson, 88, of Madison Heights, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Runk & Pratt, Liberty Ridge. He was born on February 4, 1937, in Madison Heights, the son of the late Rolfe Adams Stinson and Edna Cash Stinson.
Wyatt proudly served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard and led a life of dedication and hard work. He spent over 43 years as a loyal and valued employee at McBride Sign Company before retiring. His commitment to his community was reflected in his active role at Union Christian Church, where he served his church family. Wyatt’s love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for hunting, fishing, and camping. He was also a skilled woodworker, finding peace and purpose in crafting beautiful pieces. Above all, Wyatt was a family man, and spending time with his grandchildren was a joy he cherished deeply.
In addition to his parents, Wyatt was preceded in death by his sister, Naomi Rhodes; his brother, Doug Stinson; his daughter-in-law, Debbie Stinson; and his grandson, Colton Stinson.
Wyatt is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Norma May Stinson; his son, Terrell Stinson (Teresa); his daughter, Pamela Boydoh (Mitchell); three grandchildren, Andrew Boydoh (Bella), Brandon Stinson (Anna), and Paul Boydoh (Tiffany); four great-grandchildren, Beckham Boydoh, Emma Boydoh, Maisie Stinson, and Lena Boydoh; and his brother, Phillip Kidd (Dixie). He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews, other extended family and friends.
A service to celebrate Wyatt’s life and faith will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Whitten Monelison Chapel, with Pastor Jim Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., one hour prior to the service.

Wyatt’s legacy of love, faith, and dedication will live on through his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
